Welcome to the Goodyear Lake Polar Bear Jump Website. Over several years this event has grown dramatically. Each year, the organizers and participants of the annual event come together to raise money for local individuals or organizations that are in need of financial support.

Brenda and Jamie Waters are the founders of the event. Their dedication and perseverance each year have positively impacted the lives of countless people in the Otsego county area.

This year the Goodyear Polar Bear Jump raised 55,800 bringing the grand total since we started to over $195,800.

The Annual Polar Bear Club Chinese Auction

 was held at the Milford Central School

on February 9th at 5:30pm

13th Annual Goodyear Lake Polar Bear Jump

WE PRESENTED 6 RECIPIENTS WITH CHECKS FOR $9300.00

 

Pricilla Thayer of Otego was the oldest female jumper this year

Lisa Brooker, family and friends are releasing 100 yellow balloons in hopes that they will reach Julian Avery in the heavens. Julian passed away from brain cancer in January. Don Ayers traveled from New Hampshire to raise money and jump with Lisa and her family. Don raised $1900.00. Lisa and her family and friends have been a part of the Goodyear Lake Polar Bears for the last 4 years.
